Where Are All the Good Men? Here’s What I See.
Hi Reader, Last week, I was in Mt. Shasta, co-leading John Wineland's Embodied Men’s Leadership Training, which is a 6-month program for men committed to depth, integrity, and growth. I’ve been part of this container since 2016. And, every time, I’m struck by the same thing: Men show up not to complain, but to become. It’s not performative. It’s not for social media. It’s real. The Wisdom Circle that I run in the Bay Area is the same. And for those of you wondering… “Where are all the good men?” “Are there any men doing the work?” “Is it too late for him to change?” Let me tell you: they exist. And not just in theory, but in practice. Indulge me please with a quick Hebrew lesson... In Hebrew, the word for man is אִישׁ (aleph-yud-shin: ish), which shares a root with the word for fire: אֵשׁ (aleph-shin: esh). A man is fire — fierce, powerful, and potentially destructive if untethered. This is what we’re cultivating. The next cohort of The Wisdom Circle begins in July. If you’re a man ready to step in (or know someone who is) and you want to believe this type of fire is possible... I promise you, it is. With fire and blessings,
If something in you is burning — a longing for more truth, more connection, more aliveness — and you're ready to tend that fire with care and intention… I have one opening for a couple or individual beginning in August. Whether you’re a man, a woman, or in partnership, this work is about learning to master your fire, not hide it. |
